State Representative Mike Karickhoff (R-Kokomo) scored high on the 2011 Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s annual Legislative Vote Analysis. The Chamber’s Vote Analysis is published after every legislative session and highlights the pro-economy, pro-jobs voting records for state lawmakers. The legislator’s scores are determined by bills and select amendments’ impact on the state’s economy.

State Representative Mike Karickhoff (R-Kokomo) has been awarded a fellowship for the Council of State Government’s 17th annual Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development. House Democrats have stated that they plan to remain in Illinois until House Republicans stop their radical agenda. The problem with this claim is that it is unfounded, and has now lasted three weeks. House Democrats have no reason to believe that any bill is going to be jammed through the House, let alone any radical bills because that has not happened this legislative session.
